What Information We Collect

When you visit the Platinum website, we collect certain types of information from you, such as information you voluntarily provide via online forms or applications, etc. We may also collect information about you from your online browsing habits and transactions, including your preferences, the pages on our site you visited, technical information regarding your computer and operating systems, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and some system configuration and settings.


When you apply for a loan on our website, we ask you to create your own username and password to access information related to your loan file or submit loan documents securely.  While asking for this information is required, you are not required to activate your online account if you do not want to.   An email will be sent to you when you fill out the loan application which will require you to confirm your email address and account activation.  If you do not respond to this email or you do not confirm your email address, your online account will not be created.

If you do create and use an online account with us, all sensitive information on loan applications is encrypted during transmission. You are allowed to select your own  email address as your username to sign on. We strongly recommend that you use your own email address and not a shared email address and have your own strong password protection for your email because having access to your email account may allow access to your Platinum account.

We require you to use a certain level of password strength when creating your account, in order to increase overall security of the system.


Our website may store “Cookies” in the form of text files stored by your web browser on your computer’s hard drive. Platinum may set and track cookies for the course of our normal online business and to customize your online experience with us.

You may turn off or disable cookies in your browser settings, but please note that if you do this you may be limited to what you can do using our site or secure upload area.

Time Out

Our secure client access area will automatically log off your account after 20 minutes of inactivity. This reduces the risk of others accessing your information from your a computer or device that is unattended.


The Platinum website uses multiple firewall and security systems to stop hacks and attacks.   Overall security is hardened through the use of these firewalls and we employ features of Virtual Patching & Hardening, Application Profiling, Machine Learning, Signature Detection, Protected Pages, Bot Blocking, White and Blacklisting, and GeoBlocking Technologies.

From the moment account information leaves your computer to the time it enters the Platinum system, all sensitive data is  encrypted, in both storage and transmission.

Our site uses a standard SHA-256 with RSA Encryption SSL (“Secure Socket Layer”) Certificate to ensure a secure connection is always in place.
